Participate in a cheese and wine session in a Fromagerie (cheese shop) in Montmartre. This cheese shop also has cellars for maturing their cheeses and has been a family business since three generations.
The owner shares her passion and knowledge of cheese making with you during 2 hours where you will :
- Learn the process of fabricating raw cheese and its maturing in the cellars
- Discover the different families of cheeses (different pastes)
- Recognising the cheese specialities from different regions
- Identifying the tastes and flavours of the different families of cheese
Most importantly, around a 17th century oak table, you will awaken your senses with a tasting of 7 seasonal rare cheeses associated with surprising and original flavours such as white wine jam, fig chutney, olive and lemon chutney, quince paste and gingerbread. The tasting is accompanied with a selection of appropiate wines and artisinal breads baked in a wooden oven.
