The very first place I would recommend that you head to in Dallas is the Dallas World Aquarium. The Aquarium is one of the best in the United States. There are displays housed here from fourteen countries in all the five continents. The well laid out displays have not only fish species, but also feature marine birds, turtles and a lot many special programs. This visit is definitely a memorable experience.

The Sixth Floor Museum is another worthwhile spot among Dallas tourist attractions. The museum is housed in the sixth floor of the Dallas County Admin Building. It was previously the Texas Schoolbook Depository, and was where the horrible shooting down of former President John F Kennedy by Lee Harvey Oswald happened. The museum is dedicated to the late President. There are some displays of interest to history enthusiasts.

The Morton H Meyerson Symphony Center is another must visit. There are a good number of excellent tours available for visitors. The concerts held here are reasonably priced.
