Gatlinburg

With much excitement, I first attended the Jon Dee’s Hypnotized Comedy Show on the Historic Nature Trail in the comedy hypnosis theatre – the only one of its kind on the planet. Mr. Jon reveals the dominance of minds via your friends or yourself – both makes you laugh uncontrollably! Next, some thrilling moments were spent in the wildest simulator at Parkway called the Motion Ride Movie Theatre. It offers eight breathtaking movie rides among which you can opt for 2-3 rides for a single low price where the screen moves with you. Near to it is the next attraction – the Old Gatlinburg Golf & Games and Fort Fun offering miniature golf on two awarded golf courses and indoor Black Light Mini Golf. Further, you can opt for a game of Laser Tag, go for Bumper Cars, watch 3D movies, or dig out the Smoky Mountain for its natural treasures. Take the Vacation Pass to choose any three activities and then play them another day with no cost!

Wait! Be there on the Parkway to explore the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park for the best fun in its 120 passenger aerial tramway to alpine slide, indoor ice skating, black bear habitat & nocturnal house, water rides, restaurant, winter skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing! The Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort is a recent snow tubing park with eight slopes in winters for all. You can be trained here for skiing and snowboarding.

Now, it was the turn of most awaited attractions of the Ripley’s. I first discovered the Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum – the home of more than 500 displays unbelievable and unusual artifacts of Robert Ripley from all across the globe. Located at Parkway, it takes more than an hour to explore all. Further, there are many displays, cartoons, and interactive items. Do not miss to carry a souvenir wax made by you! Next comes the America’s No. 1 aquarium – Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies – the home of thousands of sea creatures in the downtown. Watch the 12 feet sharks in the most splendid underwater tunnel along with the hourly dive shows. Besides this, explore the Piranhas in Tropical Rain Forest, indo-pacific fish in Coral Reef, glide path via the Shark Lagoon, a horseshoe crab in Discovery Center, huge Pacific Octopus in Gallery of the Seas, and stingray at Touch a Ray Bay.

The next one is something ghostly. Yes, you guessed it right! It is the Ripley’s Haunted Adventure full with live actors, special effects, and screams! Hear the screams, smell the perishing, be in the dark, and feel the fear in the winding corridors. Bu you know what? There is no assurance that you will safely come out. Oh common! Do not be frightened from now. Just go and experience yourself. The Ripley’s Marvelous Mirror Maze & Candy Factory where you need to find a way out from 100 mirrors and enjoy favorite candies. Further, the Ripley’s Moving Theatre is a must to see where two live action 4D shows welcome you. Be amid the wind, snow, and rain as your seats also move in all eight directions as per the actions and digital sound.

Be in the World of Illusions – the largest exhibition of action illusions on the planet. Let your friend disappear, be trapped in a bottle, or see yourself going away from your shadow. If you have never felt an earthquake, experience the Earthquake Ride, a live ride with special effects for all ages.

For more fear and to see death closely, explore the HAUNTINGS – A LIVE GHOST SHOW on the Parkway. It is an interactive show full of action where you meet your own death! This is really horrible! Do not dare if you are faint-hearted!

Lastly, I visited the Guinness World of Records Museum where you will come across the memorabilia of famous record makers – Elvis, Beatles, and Michael Jordan. There are world records belonging to the domains such as sports, space, animals, food, and human achievement brought to you via amazing exhibits, interactive games, themed galleries, and video productions.
